Martin Amis’ three-part column in the Guardian, The Age of Horrorism, is a brilliant analysis of the underpinnings and motivations of radical Islamism, the “War on Terror”, and the moral relativism that not only endangers the West but condemns women in Islamic nations to suffer conditions we know to be wrong in the name of “respect” for abhorrent traditions. I wonder if there would be so much tolerance if white Southerners proposed returning to traditions of enslaving African peoples.
